Bio
Born in New York, singer, songwriter and musician Rich Freeth began his musical journey playing in the legendary New York City rock club CBGB and then other venues in New York (Kenny's Castaways, and Arlene's Grocery to name a few) and up and down the East Coast. His music features an original rock style that infuses a mix of alternative rock and post brit-pop. With a repertoire that goes from The Faces to Stereophonics, through his own compositions, Rich lavishes musicality through his original repertoire, solo and with his band. The new CD of Rich's new original music, recorded in New York City and mastered in London at Abbey Road Studios by Andy Walter, includes the participation of: ●Ben Peeler on lap steel and dobro (credits include The Wallflowers, Shakira) ●Matt Johnson on drums (Jeff Buckley, Rufus Wainwright) ●Brad Albetta on bass (Sean Lennon, Glen Hansard). Rich has shared the stage or collaborated with numerous national and international artists.
